No road trip in America is more visually mind-blowing than a tour of the Mighty Five---the tight cluster of national parks in Utah that include Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, Arches, and Canyonlands. Whether you start in Salt Lake City and work your way South, or head east from Las Vegas, it CAN be done in three days, but most people take seven, or even fourteen if they're really goin' for it. Most of your time should and will be spent knocking around the Mars-like formations of red rocks, jutting needle spires, and sheer drops to the Colorado River, but in true American road-trip fashion, there's some pitstops worth making along the way, and we (of course) gathered up everything you need to know for the perfect trip.
