A practical weekend in Tulum
Getting there

Settling in

Between town and beach
The travel time between Tulum Town and Tulum Beach is approximately 10 minutes. To get between these two areas, use the two main roads, Avenida Coba and Avenida Kukulcan.

Day trips
For your final day, you have several options for exploration. You can go snorkeling with sea turtles at Akumal beach or visit the Coba Ruins. Another option is the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, where you can see the Muyil ruins and canals. If you decide to extend your trip further into the Yucatan Peninsula, you can also visit Valladolid and Chichen Itza.
