Getting around
You can fly into Nashville International Airport, which is about 15 minutes from downtown. To get around the city, you can use BCycle bikes, which are electric. There is also a hop-on hop-off trolley that begins at 9 am and runs every 30 minutes. You will spend approximately 90 minutes total on the trolley tour. If you visit the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, you can use the free temporary parking lot for one hour of complimentary parking.
Initial stops
Head to The Gulch for a mix of shopping and food. You can design custom cowboy hats at Rustler Hat Co or grab layered donuts from Five Daughters Bakery. For lunch, Assembly Food Hall offers a variety of options in one place. You can also visit Goo Goo Chocolate Co. to make your own candy bar.
Neighborhood walks
Spend time exploring the 12 South neighborhood. You can eat tacos at Fonda. For shopping, this area features boutiques like Stoney Clover Lane, Draper James, and Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott.
City landmarks
Visit Centennial Park to see the Parthenon replica, which was created in 1897. This full-scale replica contains a 42 foot statue of Athena. From there, you can visit Music Row, where RCA Studio B is located. Another stop is Marathon Village, a former auto factory that now houses shops and artisan distilleries.
Downtown baseline
To experience the center of the city, walk through downtown for boot shopping at Lucchese Boots, Boot Country, or 2for1 Boots. You can also visit Broadway to hear live music at bars such as The Stage, Second Fiddle, and Legends Corner.
